Conflict, climate change, and the rising cost of living are driving unprecedented growth in humanitarian needs and food insecurity. One in five children is living in or fleeing from conflict, with over 114 million people forcibly displaced. In 2023, over 700 million individuals experienced hunger, with significant disparities between low-income and high-income countries.
World Vision is committed to reaching the most vulnerable people in the hardest-to-reach places. This commitment drives us to enhance the agility of our systems and structures. We support food and cash programming with a portfolio valued at over USD 500 million, ensuring alignment with donor and organisational standards.
